World’s Sports Group announced as Global Partner for The Running Conference 2024
Running Industry Alliance (RIA) is excited to announce World’s Sports Group as Global Partner for The Running Conference presented by haku #TRC24, which takes place for RIA Members from 8th to 10th December 2024 at Loughborough University, UK.

Charlotte Melchert, CEO and Founder of World’s Sports Group, attended The Running Conference 2023 and gave an insightful keynote presentation about the true value of international runner participation at events. For TRC24, World’s Sports Group are not only a Global Partner but will also host and bring a Swedish element to one of the mornings of TRC24, details of which will be announced in autumn.
The Running Conference 2024 presented by haku is the largest annual RIA Member in-person meet up and features meticulously curated content focusing on relevant and impactful topics for the sport and business of Running. Key themes include The Market Place; Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB); Health and Wellbeing; Research, Data, and Insights; Sustainability and Future. Attendees can expect a dynamic mix of speakers, panels, workshops, roundtable discussions, activations, celebrations, and ample industry (B2B) networking opportunities.
Particular attention has been placed on the level of attending delegates from RIA Membership organisations representing decision makers for the UK, Ireland and Europe, with the overall aim to create meaningful and purposeful engagement. The conference is set to be a sellout again this year with increased capacity at the venue.
New elements for 2024 include product first looks, data and reporting advancements, further opportunities to network and make new long-term connections, and specific breakout meetings for retail, brands, events and charities. The 1st Triathlon Industry Conference will also be taking place at TRC24, after the merger news announced last week.
