Ultra X and Macmillan Partner to Drive Charitable Giving
Ultra X, is pleased to announce a new partnership with leading UK cancer charity Macmillan Cancer Support, that provides specialist health care, information and financial support to people affected by cancer.
Macmillan Cancer Support has been at the forefront of providing specialized healthcare, information, and financial assistance to people affected by cancer for many years. Their commitment to helping those facing cancer aligns perfectly with Ultra X’s mission to make a positive difference in the world through their events.
The collaboration between Ultra X and Macmillan Cancer Support will not only raise awareness for a worthy cause but also promote charitable giving among event participants.
As part of the partnership, Ultra X will offer reduced price charity bib entries across all events, as well as allowing competitors to make a ‘charitable donation’ during event registration, with the proceeds directed to Macmillan Cancer Support to further their vital work.
Sam Heward, Co-Founder of Ultra X, expressed the significance of this partnership, stating, “While we create life-changing experiences through our events, we also recognize the imperative to support those in need. Teaming up with Macmillan Cancer Support allows us to make a tangible difference in the lives of individuals affected by cancer.”
Ultra X’s collaboration with Macmillan Cancer Support encompasses a range of initiatives, including raising awareness about the charity’s programs and services, organizing fundraising campaigns, and actively engaging with event participants to drive support for cancer patients.
Will Morrison Ayton, Senior Events Programme Manager at Macmillan Cancer Support, said “We are really excited to be the charity partner of Ultra X for the next 2 years. We have truly remarkable people taking part in our fundraising challenges, and we believe that the Ultra X series is a fantastic opportunity for our loyal supporters to take on a series that is both challenging but extremely rewarding. We are delighted to be part of this ever-growing event discipline and look forward to the opportunity to work with Ultra X, as we aim to fundraise over £130,000 so we can continue to be there for people living with cancer.”
