Stand-alone website launched for The Running Conference 2023 #TRC23
Running Industry Alliance (RIA) has announced the launch of a new stand-alone website for The Running Conference 2023 #TRC23, which takes place from 10th – 12th December 2023 at Holywell Park Conference Centre, Loughborough University.
Following the huge success of the inaugural event in 2022, The Running Conference has seen a big growth in demand and the new website gives it the stand-alone identity and exposure it deserves.
Early-bird registration for the member-only conference is open, and all RIA Members have received the details on how to register.
The Running Conference #TRC23 is the annual RIA Members in-person meet up and features curated content built for members of RIA including conference sessions, panel discussions, activations, “first look” market research, data and insights, round table discussions, plenty of networking opportunities and a celebration of the running industry.
The content is based on RIA and Members’ work from 2023 to 2028 and will focus on the following areas: The Market Place; Equality, Diversity and Inclusion; Health and Wellbeing; Research, Data and Insights; Sustainability; Future.
Full RIA membership includes one ticket to The Running Conference, and additional early-bird tickets for colleagues in the RIA Member’s business can be purchased until 31st July subject to availability. A number of tickets have been reserved for new members joining RIA over the next few months leading up to TRC23.
The new website can be viewed at www.therunningconference.com and is powered by RIA Member Easol Experience Commerce. Easol, the first of its kind all-in-one platform for managing entire experience businesses globally, is the Official Registration Partner for The Running Conference 2023.
Accommodation for The Running Conference has also been released, with RIA Member Marathon Tours & Travel announced as the Official Accommodation Partner. Early-bird accommodation rates for three on-site hotels are available to book until 31st July, and the booking link and discount code have been sent to RIA Members. RIA Members can get in touch with the RIA team if they have any questions.
Further Official Partners and Supporters as well as more details about activations, hosts, speakers, panel and round table discussions will be announced over the coming weeks and months.
Co-Leads Rebecca Richardson and Jonathan Midwood from RIA said: “We are excited to announce the launch of the stand-alone website for The Running Conference 2023, demand for which has grown so much that a page on the RIA website was no longer sufficient to host all the running industry curated content!
“The Running Conference is the biggest RIA Members in-person meet up in the year, featuring a fantastic conference schedule plus many activations and networking opportunities. It’s the place where existing colleagues reconnect, new connections across the defined verticals are made, collaborations and business support deals are born, first look at market data, research and insights and useful industry information are shared, topics needing to be solved discussed, and so much more. Anyone who works in the running industry and is currently not a member can get in touch with the membership team to join now and secure a place at The Running Conference. We are looking forward to seeing everybody in December, and in the meantime lots of other exciting things continue to happen at RIA in collaboration with RIA Members, Alliance Partners and parallel verticals across industries.
“A big thank you also goes to the team at Easol for all the help and support in making this happen, and to all RIA Members and Alliance Partners for the continued support.”
Lisa Simpson, Co-Founder at Easol, commented: “We are happy that Easol is the booking platform and registration partner for The Running Conference 2023. Easol is built by creators for creators, and our mission is to make Easol an experience commerce platform that puts the technology, ownership, and possibilities in the hands of these experience creators. We are proud to be a Foundation Member of Running Industry Alliance and are looking forward to seeing fellow members at The Running Conference in December.”
