Silva Changes Distribution Partner in Benelux

Silva, the number one Swedish compass, headlamp, and outdoor equipment brand, have taken the decision to change distribution partner in Benelux. The new distributor, Hike-A-Way, will take over distribution of Silva products in the Sport & Outdoor channels in Benelux from Hombel BVBA from 1st of January 2023.

The Benelux region with the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg are of strategic importance for sport & outdoor sales in Europe with strong outdoor communities and large retailers. Silva have been represented in Benelux by Hombel BVBA for many years with strong compass sales in professional channels as a result. Hombel will continue with compass sales in professional channels, side by side with the new distributor in sport & outdoor channels Hike-A-Way.

Silva have set aggressive growth targets for the headlamp business in export markets for the coming years and this is the main reason for changing distribution partner to Hike-A-Way who has strong relations with key retailers in the region, and other Nordic outdoor brands in the portfolio.

From the 1^st of January 2023, Hike-A-Way will handle the Sport & Outdoor product portfolio and related marketing activities for Silva in Benelux.
