Run For All: Hull Running Festival set to return with city centre start and finish
In partnership with Hull City Council, not-for-profit events company, Run For All, are delighted to announce the return of one of the region’s most popular charity road running events, the Hull Running Festival.
Taking place on Sunday 11th June, the festival will again include the Hull Half Marathon and Hull 10K, with both events expected to raise tens of thousands of pounds raised for a number of local and national charities. The day is set to see runners of all ages and abilities return to the city’s streets in a carnival celebration of running, fundraising and Northern pride.
Returning to a city centre start and finish, both routes will take runners past a number of Hull’s iconic landmarks including the Humber Dock Marina, award-winning aquarium, The Deep, and Hull Minster.
Cllr Mike Ross, Leader of Hull City Council, said “We are delighted to welcome the return of the Hull Running Festival to the city’s streets for 2023. It’s great to see the return of a community event for all ages and abilities to get involved in and which will benefit so many local and national charities.
The event is a much-loved part of the city’s sporting calendar, so we have no doubt it will be a fantastic day of running in the city.
We wish everyone taking part the very best of luck.”
Building on its previous organisation of the event, Run For All will continue to increase community and charity engagement, while also working to remove barriers to participation for the event, so that more people in the region can enjoy the benefits of getting active.
The event will also work closely with local businesses across the region and is encouraging anyone interested in partnering with the event to get in touch.
Providing fundraising opportunities for charities is the primary objective of every Run For All event, ensuring that the money being raised by the event stays local and supports the causes that need them most.

Any further charities interested in becoming an Official Charity Partner of the event, whether they have previously been involved with the Hull Running Festival or not, are encouraged to contact Run For All as soon as possible.
Mike Tomlinson, CEO at Run For All said: “We are delighted to be returning to Hull in 2023 for the Hull Running Festival.
The festival is so well received within the local community of Hull and it promises to be a rewarding and enjoyable event for all those involved.
