Ordnance Survey: National #GetOutsideDay returns this Sunday 24th September 2023

What is National #GetOutsideDay?

Founded by Ordnance Survey, National #GetOutsideDay is a chance for us all to celebrate the great outdoors. We want to help more people to get outside more often so that they live longer, stay younger and enjoy life more! It doesn’t matter where you go, what you do or who you’re with – everyone can get outside from their front door! So, save the date – Sunday 24 September and join us to celebrate National #GetOutsideDay 2023!

This year’s theme is ‘precious places’. We want to find the best places across the UK and encourage you to explore and protect them.

Whether you’re planning to spend time in a place you love or discover somewhere new, we hope you enjoy every moment outdoors. Want some inspiration? Discover our precious places or share why your place is special with us.

You might find a nearby hill with beautiful sunset views or feel at home when exploring further afield on a much-loved National Trail.

Follow us on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter to stay up to date with the great outdoors and to let us know what you’ll be doing this Sunday!
