Join funetics and SFACTOR at the Paralympics GB Fan Zone at Battersea Power Station
To support the first-ever ParalympicsGB Fan Zone, funetics and SFACTOR Academy are joining forces to showcase athletics, not just a pivotal sport in the Paralympics but as a fun and accessible sport for all.
Providing free athletics activities for the whole family to experience, the funetics and SFACTOR activation zones will be open from Friday 30 August to Sunday 1 September, 11am to 5pm* at the iconic Battersea Power Station, London.
*The Paralympic Games take place from August 28 to September 8, 2024.
Activities will include trying out a racing wheelchair, the likes of which our 7x Paralympian champion Hannah Cockcroft will race with during these Games; as well as a mix of fundamental movement activities: running, jumping and throwing.
Our funetics team will be led by Jack Harris (funetics Activator) and supported by SFACTOR Academy, who have a dedicated disability section for young people included in their club. Alongside Jack and SFACTOR will be 3 of our funetics delivery team members, Rime, Rheann and Honey, who are experts in delivering fun and inclusive activities for kids!
With a large turnout expected, it is a very exciting time to be involved and be part of the hype around the Paralympics. With other sports to try and activations from Aldi and TIKTOK, it is a great way to celebrate the wonderful summer of sport we are having.
We hope to see you there!
