Final Surge x Zwift integration for running & cycling workouts

Final Surge, the online training platform for coaches and athletes, now has a direct integration with Zwift. The new integration allows Final Surge athletes to push planned running and cycling workouts to Zwift, as well as receive completed workouts that were undertaken on Zwift.

Final Surge notes that it is one of the first training apps to support running workouts on Zwift. For Zwift users that have a compatible treadmill, such as the new Wahoo KICKR RUN, planned structured pace-based workouts can now be created by coaches and athletes within Final Surge and sent to Zwift.

Whilst running, Zwift will automatically notify the athlete when the pace needs to be increased or decreased during a structured workout.

“This is an exciting integration for us, both from a cycling and running standpoint,” said Tim Surface, Co-Founder of Final Surge.

“Zwift integration has been one of our biggest feature requests, and we’re also seeing more and more athletes with smart treadmills that want to take advantage of completing structured workouts indoors.”
