Who Is It For? This event is for all endurance runners: from seasoned athletes looking to update and refine their knowledge, to aspiring competitors eager to take their first steps toward longer distances. It’s also an excellent professional development and networking opportunity for coaches. The symposium offers something for everyone, providing opportunities to share experiences and learn from fellow athletes, as well as gain insights from health and performance experts. While the focus is on running, the topics covered are highly relevant to other ultra-endurance sports and activities, including fast-packing, thru-hiking, cycling, and mountaineering.
What Will Attendees Learn? Our symposium will feature expert-led talks, interactive workshops, practical demonstrations, and bookable sports science services so people can fully immerse themselves in all things ultra-endurance. Those attending will gain insights into the demands of ultra events, such as effective training approaches, nutrition for training, race-day fuelling strategies, injury prevention, considerations for female athletes, mental resilience, heat-specific race preparation, and managing illness and infection.
Coaches, scientists, and athletes (current and former) have been invited to present. The timetable will be announced in due course.
How Will It Help Attendees? The content will be as applied and actionable as possible, helping people put what they have learned into practice. After attending they will be acing their next event and surprising themselves!

How You Can Get Involved:
We are looking for sponsors to support this event. By securing sponsorship, we can cover the event costs and reduce admission prices, making the symposium more affordable and accessible to all.
We are offering a range of sponsorship levels to boost your visibility and engagement with your target audience. In addition, to branding exposure before and during the event, there are the following opportunities to get involved:
- Trade Stands – We would like you to get involved, providing individuals with access to a variety of clothing, footwear, nutrition, and other products that will support them on their journey.
- Speaking Opportunities: An opportunity for one of your brand ambassadors to deliver a keynote speech, participate in a panel discussion, or your brand could lead a workshop.
- Lunch Sponsor – We are looking at hiring a professional chef with expertise in supporting sports performers to create freshly prepared ultra-endurance relevant snacks and meals throughout both days. This will allow runners to sample relevant nutrition, take away recipes, and develop their practices. You could sponsor this part of the event.
