Victory for Gideon Kimosop – 2022 Belfast City Half Marathon

On Sunday 18th September 2022 over 3,500 participants took part at the 9th Mash Direct Belfast City Half Marathon.  This was a record year for the event as it returned post Covid.

Gideon Kimosop won the title of the Mash Direct Belfast City Half Marathon. Followed by Conor Gallagher achieving a time of 1:07:44 from St Malachy’s AC. In 3rd place, with a finish time of 1:10:41 was Beechmount Harrier’s Chris Madden.

For the ladies, Gemma McDonald (Ballycastle AC) won in a time of 1:23:25.  Niamh O Connor, arrived in second place in 1:23:40.  In third place, Leann Gibson from Victoria Park and Connswater in 1:24:23 time.

Karol Doherty won the Wheelchair race in a time of 1:19:36.
