Ahotu and Strava join forces to get athletes race-ready

Ahotu, the world’s largest endurance sports event calendar, has partnered with Strava, the 135-million-strong digital sports community, to level up race-day preparation for athletes.

Strava’s embedded interactive course routes are now accessible through Ahotu’s global event calendar. Users can explore details of a race course, including terrain, elevation, and other key information, in preparation for race day. They can also toggle between six different map types, zoom into specific course sections, and sync maps to their devices for seamless training and navigation.

Ahotu is renowned for its comprehensive event calendar which, featuring 28 endurance sports and advanced filtering options, makes it easy to discover new races across the globe.

Not only does Ahotu have an extensive archive of event data, but athletes can also book upcoming races directly through the platform. To enhance the user experience, athletes are able to filter for bookable events as well as races that feature a Strava course map (explore the current range of events with an integrated Strava course map here).

Charlotte Melchert, CEO of Ahotu, shared her excitement about the partnership:
Our mission has always been to inspire athletes to explore events across the globe, whether they’re seasoned marathoners or newcomers looking for their first challenge. By partnering with Strava, we’re taking this a step further. Athletes can now not only discover events but, thanks to Strava’s extraordinary route maps, also prepare more effectively.

Ahotu now features over 1,600 events with Strava maps, including well-known city marathons, such as the London Marathon and the New York Marathon. A full overview of the partnership can be seen here.
