Running Industry Alliance and Include Summit Partner to Promote Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion in Running for Underprivileged Youth 

Running Industry Alliance (RIA) and Include Summit have announced a partnership with a focus on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in sports. One of the aims of the partnership is to ensure that running has a place for every single underrepresented and underprivileged young person, which is part of RIA’s EDI focus area with its members.

Include Summit is the UK’s No.1 Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Summit For Sport, taking place on 3rd and 4th May 2023 at Manchester Central Convention Complex.

With a mission of getting “1 Million Underprivileged And Underrepresented Young People Taking Part In Sport”, Include Summit is a chance to hear from leading voices across the sector, attend expert workshops, and connect with others who are passionate about driving change.

As part of the partnership, RIA will be hosting a roundtable discussion at the summit on the topic of EDI in running, with the discussion providing a platform for experts and stakeholders to share their experiences and insights on this important topic. RIA members attending the summit will also have access to a dedicated RIA meet-up area.

This partnership is of huge interest to many RIA members and the running industry as a whole, and we are looking forward to helping to change the landscape in the industry.”

The Running Conference 2023 #TRC23 by Running Industry Alliance takes place from 10^th to 12^th December 2023 at Loughborough University.
