UK run retail shake-up as GO Outdoors launches KUDOS RUN

UK-based outdoor retailer GO Outdoors has confirmed the launch of KUDOS RUN, a dedicated running department offering an extensive range of leading running brands.

Available both online and inside six stores across York, Swindon, Coventry, Stoke, Derby, and set to open next week, Stockton. KUDOS RUN aims to position GO Outdoors as a significant player in the UK running retail sector.

GO Outdoors adds that it has responded to a recent rise in demand for running specific products and chosen to expand categories as part of a major investment into the GO Outdoors brand.

The retailer noted that… ‘The launch of KUDOS RUN will provide runners of all abilities with access to premium footwear, clothing, wearable technology, and nutrition from globally recognised brands such as Adidas, ASICS, Garmin, Merrell, New Balance and Salomon. This development marks GO Outdoors’ commitment to offering a credible retail solution, on a national scale, for runners on the road or the trail.

‘KUDOS RUN is designed to cater not just to the needs of existing GO Outdoors customers, but also to attract new customers looking to start or enhance their running journey. GO Outdoors understands the importance of providing expert support and has introduced state-of-the-art foot scanners in its flagship stores from Volumental.

‘This is the only store to offer this level of foot scan to give runners in-depth gait analysis and detailed assessments of runners’ feet, helping customers choose the ideal footwear to improve performance and prevent injuries.’

In addition to product offerings, KUDOS RUN aims to build stronger relationships with existing brand partners while attracting new ones, providing a platform to deliver added value to the running community across the UK.
